Stuff I Use!

These are my associate links to products that I have shown in my patterns, videos, etc.      Thanks for shopping through Sew Much Nicer!

I try to find links for products that use Amazon Prime.  I personally find the Prime Membership to be quite valuable.  I do use it for videos, TV shows, free shipping, Audible, etc.

Check out Amazon Prime here!

So on to our goodies.   I’ll post the most recent additions to the top of this list. Except for needles. 🙂 These are one of the most important things in BGBland…

One of my favorite irons… I like this one for my RV because of being cordless .. and it’s a nice slightly-compact size and it’s great for pressing seams and such.   It’s “double ended!”  No heel!

Here’s the item that I get the most requests for!  This is the perfect machine-side scissors!  There is no top/bottom/right/left… just pick them up and they work. Super great sharp points.

And.. if you work with fusibles.. nothing.. and I mean *nothing* beats having a press.   You won’t know how you lived without it!

This is another version of a press – and it also has steam. Personally, I wouldn’t want the steam holes on the plate of the machine making marks/dents in the fabric.. but hey… the price is right.

From my “Jammie Chat” video done on 11/20/16 :  One of the viewers saw this in the background.  It comes with an ugly black bag to hang for your threads/scraps, but is not shown in this picture.   I changed mine out with a bag I made from selvedge edges.  The most wonderful thing about this gizmo is that it keeps your drink in a safe place so that condensation doesn’t happen on your work surface… and it makes it almost impossible to spill your drink.   I got mine because a friend had one in a retreat that I went to back in 2012 or so.  Love mine!

I got rid of *all* of my rulers and have moved on to only using Creative Grids.  They have no-slip little textured circles on the back sides.   Here’s the biggest one, great for bags.. but do shop around with the search term “Creative Grids” to see more sizes!

You’re gonna need these for The Bionic Gear Bag, Bionic Mother Lode, Dumpling Dish &  Bionic Little Trash Bin Thingy:

Here is an excellent adhesive for this project – this is crazy super cheap and convenient to order through Amazon:

Or this one is a little less expensive, not a prime item but ships free….

And you’re going to really want these for your E6000 (in the 2 oz size)  … This is the item we use to hold E6000 tubes… it’s AWESOME. It allows you to 1) hold the tube upright, 2) control the flow of adhesive easily and 3) lets you “screw it backwards” to create a vacuum inside the tube – so the adhesive will go back into the tube and not make a big ol’ mess at the nozzle. 🙂

If you don’t already have one of these you’re gonna want to get one…..

Bobbin keepers…    The link I am providing below will take you to the most economical offer that I found at the time I placed this item in our list.  Shop around for other quantities, etc.

These are the containers shown in our 161107 Video in our Facebook Group: Sew Much Nicer Community

The first is the small one shown with the bobbin collars made from tubing:

And this one is the larger one that I use to hold my bobbins:

This is the link to the tubing shown in the video … this item isn’t “Prime” but the shipping is still free.

Those Tulip Pins for naming your pieces

From Jammie Chat of January 29, 2017 … (we made the microwave bowl potholders).  I showed these lights.. love them!
